Why get your boiler serviced ?

Getting your annual boiler service is a way for our gas safe engineer to check the the safety and efficiency of your boiler and to keep on top of any minor issues that could lead to costly repairs in the future.

What we do on a boiler service

We will check the correct function of all parts and controls on your boiler along with an internal and external inspection on all the main components of your boiler and make sure there are no signs of scorching and leaking. We will top up your boiler pressure to 1.5mb.
We will then clean your condensate trap out which can block up and cause boiler ignition faults if not done properly. We will also clean any magnetic system filters out if required.
Test your boilers safety devices.

Our boiler engineer will then conduct the 3 main tests on a boiler service.

Flue gas analysis and visual flue inspection. These must be in line with the boilers manufacturers instructions and this ensures the integrity of the boiler flue and there is safe levels of carbon monoxide.
Gas rate. We will gas rate your boiler to make sure it’s burning the correct amount off gas.
Inlet pressure. To make sure your boiler is receiving the correct amount of gas from the gas meter.

We will then supply you with an emailed service sheet which will have all the readings, findings and your details recorded on your service, this will also make sure your boiler warranties are valid.
